Who Wins and Why – Talk by Tom Dawson-Squibb
November 12th, 2012

You are invited to, “WHO WINS AND WHY” a talk by Tom Dawson-Squibb, on Thursday 29th November at 6pm at the Western Province Cricket Club Bowls clubhouse. We would value your attendance and look forward to giving you some valuable insight. This is an open invitation and we would appreciate your friends and colleagues attending as well should they be interested.

In the last three years Tom has been involved in 15 different sporting disciplines at levels from professional to school sport. He’s also worked in human performance with both large and small companies. With a background in Organisational Psychology, the methods he has developed have been used in a wide variety of applications in many different situations.  Having worked with teams and individuals that have both succeeded and failed, he has had the opportunity to identify key drivers to success as well as what clearly doesn’t work. Capitalising on the obvious links between sports, organisational and personal excellence, he uses real-life experience from the sporting world to demonstrate what he believes to be effective lessons in excellence.

This talk, both entertaining and informative, is based on Tom’s own experience working with: The Stormers, 2011; WP Rugby 2010-2012; UCT Rugby 2011-2012; Ajax CT 2011, SA Golf 2012. He will be joined by JOHN DOBSON and NIC GROOM both of whom Tom has worked with for some years. They will be sharing their experience and insights. The talk will be followed by a question and answer session.
